Who is this workshop for?

Our workshops are run in New Zealand. Our gluten free cooking class is suitable for:

  • Those with Coeliac Disease or who are following a gluten free diet for personal health reasons.
  • People with wheat, potato, corn, egg, soy, nut or dairy allergies or intolerances. We will help you find a gluten free flour mix that will work for your body's needs. 
  • Adults or Parents of children with autism, aspergers or requiring special diets to assist with behaviour or improve health.

We want to help you learn how to feed yourself and your family again. We focus on adding nutritional value to our recipes such as increasing protein and fibre in the bread mix. Additionally, by making your own food you can save money as well as control what goes into it! We cater for as many allergies as we can and tailor to suit wherever possible.  The New Zealand Coeliac Society as well as many other health professionals happily recommend us.


The Workshop Details

  • Prices:

$120 per adult (over 18)  inc GST
* if you already hold a 12mth membership in the GFME Recipe Club, the price is $90 inc GST

$195 for spouses attending together inc GST
* if you already hold a 12mth membership in the GFME Recipe Club, the price is $165 inc GST

$170 for parent and child over 10yrs inc GST
* if you already hold a 12mth membership in the GFME Recipe Club, the price is $140 inc GST

Gift Vouchers Available

  • 2 Venues in Auckland - Auckland Central & Pukekohe. 
    Other Venues occasionally as advertised. We are always happy to consider additional venues in New Zealand so please contact us to talk about holding a workshop where you live
  • Duration: Approx 5-6 hours held on one day (usually 9.30am-3.00pm)
  • At The Workshop: We demonstrate some of our core recipes that will help get you started. You will also receive 12 months membership to our Online Recipe Club, and an abbreviated printed recipe book. This includes bread (white, seeded & focaccia), crackers, bread rolls, fresh pasta, crepes and more. 

    We also show you how to blend your own flours which enables you to cater for your own dietary needs as well as save money.

    During the workshop we will show you how to create great tasting food with ease while you take notes, ask questions, and if you wish, get some hands on experience. 

    Morning tea & lunch will be provided (plus lots of snacks and treats). You need not bring anything apart from a container to take some delicious samples home at the end of the day.
