Happy New Year! As we move into 2015, we would like to thank everyone for their support through 2014. We have met some amazing people, travelled to new places and have been hosted by some wonderful families. We look forward to meeting up with old friends and making new ones in 2015.
With the festive season over and the holidays in full swing we wish you all a very prosperous, safe and happy New Year. We know some of you were blessed with new mixers for Christmas, so happy baking with your new toys! We are only an email away if you need any help.
Over the last month we have had a lot of emails, phone calls and cards thanking us for helping make daily eating a little easier, especially for families with multiple allergies. Neville has had a few challenges and so far he has managed to find a solution for everyone! We are very much looking forward to 2015 and bringing you more hints, tips and recipes.

On the Radio!
On Sat 3rd Jan 2015 at 9.00am (NZ time), our very own GFME Chef Neville, along with Terry Hoskins (President of NZ Coeliac Society) and Helen Carey (Coeliac Society Coordinator) will be interviewed by Lyn Freeman from Radio New Zealand on the topic of Coeliac Disease. Tune in and listen! They are doing a series of interviews on Coeliac Disease, Food intolerance and Allergies.
Pavlova:An all time favourite dessert. This pavlova has a crunchy outer crust with a soft marshmallow centre. Traditionally served at special occasions topped with whipped cream and fruit of you choice. Our favourite topping is passion fruit pulp, fresh strawberries and kiwifruit.
Lady Fingers: These sponge like fingers are light, fluffy and crisp with many uses from trifles, tiramisu to layered deserts. Made in advance they will keep for up to a week in an airtight container and also freeze well.
